I don't get how you guys manage to beat this game. It sucks to have your party's surgeon just get up and leave because he doesn't like another one of my followers.

I'm having trouble getting my hero characters to get along. Once that base was set, I started looking to some army building and bandit hunting. Certainly the idea of playing the role of a raider tribe would be interesing to some people?Į~ Danger, what I did early on was not recruit anyone - just rolled around fighting tournaments and hiring Companions, equipping them with the basics and making sure everyone had mounts so we could always outrun trouble. Is it just my perception, or does the game seem to frown on indiscriminate pillaging and living dishonorably? Seems to make things more difficult for the player and shuts down certain aspects of the game without opening up any alter-aspects. Currently, I don't care about the crappy militia men they give me (I was building an all-knight army) and the money you spend to increase their financial output seems far greater than what you're likely to recieve from them.Īm I correct in assuming the cave (which I now know has the cool rune weapons in it) also has the 'weapon enchanting' as well? I look forward to a future mod that makes their role more interesting/significant. Hmmm, seems to me the whole fief upgrading thing definitely has some potential for improvements.

I started walking around the town with the idea that the chest would literally be hiding somewhere, then about 2 minutes of that I thought it was a ridiculous notion and I probably just needed to talk to someone or choose a certain option from the city menu.
